How to Participate

Participation in the Cake Contest is open to all baking enthusiasts and cake artists. Here’s how you can be a part of this mouthwatering competition:

1. Register: Complete the registration form by registering here. Hurry, as there are only 32 slots available, and registration will close as soon as all slots are filled or by the registration deadline.

2. Prepare Your Cake: Create a cake masterpiece that adheres to the theme of Celebrate Southlake. Let your imagination run wild while keeping in mind the contest rules and categories.

3. Submit Your Entry: Deliver your cake to the event venue between 4 and 5 PM on September 9, 2023. The judges will announce winners at approximately 6 PM and cake will be served after. Ensure your cake is stable when sitting, and remember to include a list of ingredients.

Contest Rules

To ensure a fair and enjoyable competition, please adhere to the following rules:

Cake size must be a minimum of 8 inches and a maximum of 12 inches.
Cakes must be structurally stable when placed on display.
A list of ingredients must be provided to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Your cake must be an original creation, not previously submitted to any other contest.

Winner Announcement

Be on the edge of your seat as our judges reveal the winners of each category at approximately 6 PM on September 9, 2023 in Southlake Town Hall.
